One personal fact about you: My happy place is our family cabin in the mountains of Northern California.
1. What led you to Ōmcare?
When changing careers in 2019, I knew that I wanted to join the healthcare industry. In particular, I have a passion for helping people live independently as long as possible, based on my experiences as a caregiver for my mom. I met Lisa through a mutual connection and was inspired by Ōmcare’s mission of changing the way the world cares and addressing un-met needs for the growing population of adults 65+.
2. What’s the most rewarding part of working at Ōmcare?
Hearing from Hub owners, potential owners, and caregivers how Ōmcare simplifies their lives or takes a worry off their very full plate.
3. What is your favorite current project you’re working on?
I love working with the team to help deliver a product our customers will love and building a team of customer care professionals who share a passion to help.
4. Pick out a core value that means a lot to you. How have you seen this lived out in your time at Ōmcare?
We are a team. We understand the lifting power of many wings can achieve twice as much as any bird flying alone. Quite simply, there are no swim lanes or silos at Ōmcare. We’re here to help each other and everyone’s voice and contribution matter.
5. What are you most proud of accomplishing throughout your time at Ōmcare?
I really love the brand identity work that we’ve done with Marketing – it’s how we want to show up not only for our customers but for each other. It aligns with our values and mission and will become the way that we measure success and the quality of our customer service.

1. What led you to Ōmcare?
I joined Ōmcare in July 2018 as an intern because of how impressive the original product PetChatz was and how welcoming the engineering team was — they had no prejudice and were willing to help where I was lacking.
2. What’s the most rewarding part of working at Ōmcare?
The most rewarding thing about working at Ōmcare is the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative team that consistently strives for excellence. Ōmcare fosters a culture of collaboration and encourages employees to bring their ideas to the table. This open and inclusive environment empowers me to contribute my unique skills and perspectives, knowing that my input is valued and appreciated.
3. What is your favorite current project you’re working on?
I’m currently working on testing the software infrastructure on the new hardware that will be used for our next generation project Hub 2.0. Using an iMX 8 devkit, I have begun the preliminary work to port our existing software and test new features.
4. Pick out a core value that means a lot to you. How have you seen this lived out in your time at Ōmcare?
We boldly go where no one has gone before: This value is one of the reasons I wake up to work every morning with a new goal to achieve. Since my internship days, I have always been encouraged to think beyond conventional solutions and traditional approaches. With a culture that promotes curiosity, creativity, and entrepreneurial opportunities, I am never bored or uninterested in my work. Every new challenge is an opportunity for me to grow in different aspects. By stepping out of our comfort zone into unknown territories, we have always achieved extraordinary outcomes to deliver an excellent product to our customers.
5. What are you most proud of accomplishing throughout your time at Ōmcare?
Having been part of the development of our current Hardware/Software development infrastructure, my proudest accomplishment while at Ōmcare would be my growth as an experience and almost all-rounded Computer Engineer, who is not afraid of new challenges. Computer Engineers deal with a lot of unknowns while dealing with the hardware and software aspects of a product. During my time at Ōmcare, my analytical and creative skills are always being sharpened to implement new features that our customers will be able to experience seamlessly and with a smile on their faces.
6. Why should someone work at Ōmcare?
Work plays a vital role in our lives, providing us with numerous benefits and opportunities for personal growth. Ōmcare is a company that offers a lot of opportunities for growth. To grow, people need challenges and a sense of adventure. Thus, I believe that as a startup company where everything is fast paced and riddled with unknowns, people should work at Ōmcare if they believe that they are in a stage of their lives where they would like to make a difference in the healthcare world without any fear of challenges.

1. What’s the most rewarding part of working at Ōmcare?
I love being part of a team that is developing a product that will truly help people have a better quality of life, with the right medication at the right time.
2. What is your favorite current project you’re working on?
Onboarding our new team members is always rewarding for me. I get the chance to make connections and assist them in being more comfortable when transitioning their careers to Ōmcare.
3. Pick out a core value that means a lot to you. How have you seen this lived out in your time at Ōmcare?
WE are a Team; It’s fun to watch when collaboration happens. The different views and ideas that everyone has brings our product to a new level.
4. What are you most proud of accomplishing throughout your time at Ōmcare?
Throughout my time at Ōmcare, I am most proud of the growth and knowledge I have acquired from wearing multiple hats including Accounting, HR, Administrative, and Customer Care. All these responsibilities have brought me a unique perspective into each part of the company and allow me to look at everything in a bigger picture context.

Time at Ōmcare: 10 months
1. What led you to Ōmcare?
I started with Ōmcare by working part time over winter break doing Customer Care. When I was done with school I started to help by testing the Ōmcare Home Health Hub. Last November I was offered a full time job as the Customer Care Specialist.
2. What’s the most rewarding part of working at Ōmcare?
The most rewarding part of my job at Ōmcare is helping our Lead Users become more adherent with their medications because they can really see a difference personally with their health and wellness.
3. What is your favorite current project you’re working on?
My favorite project is working on the Lead User Pilot because I love getting to know our Lead Users and I love helping them find solutions that they are proud of.
4. Pick out a core value that means a lot to you. How have you seen this lived out in your time at Ōmcare?
WE are a Team; I love collaborating with different members of our team and learning new perspectives that could help solve a problem or make our product even better!
5. What are you most proud of accomplishing throughout your time at Ōmcare?
I am most proud of the help that we have given to the participants and lead users that we have helped become more adherent leading to them feeling better physically, mentally, and emotionally.

I believe that someone should work for Ōmcare because we are working towards having an amazing product that will truly change people's quality of life and will have a huge impact on the longevity of their lives.

One personal fact about you: I dream big. My idea of a pet while growing up in South India was an Elephant!
1. What led you to Ōmcare?
My quest for an opportunity to develop a ground-breaking product led me to Ōmcare. I started my career 22 years ago with a startup developing products for Bluetooth technology which was in its nascent stage then. Throughout my career I got opportunities to develop amazing products for organizations like Microsoft, DHL, and Medtronic. My experience at Medtronic—where I helped developed Bluetooth enabled Pacemakers—introduced me to medical device domain which I fell in love with. When the opportunity to lead Ōmcare’s product development came, I grabbed it with both hands.
2. What’s the most rewarding part of working at Ōmcare?
Creating a path-breaking product, the opportunities to learn new technologies, and getting to work with amazing people are equally rewarding.
3. What is your favorite current project you’re working on?
I enjoy every aspect of my work. My responsibilities include:
- Project management which means managing scope, schedule, cost, resources, risks, quality, and contracting
- Software development and testing which involves embedded systems and application development
- Site Reliability Engineering, which is a new area of focus for me and involves identifying and using software tools and architectures that enable our product to be more secure and reliable
4. Pick out a core value that means a lot to you. How have you seen this lived out in your time at Ōmcare?
All our core values mean a lot to me. But if I have to pick one, I’d choose “Acts with integrity and follows through.”
My day-to-day work involves resolving technological challenges—part of all product development—and the last thing I want to worry about is whether the other person in the room will do what is right. I see all our core values lived out at Ōmcare every single day. I see our team members proactively picking up difficult tasks, getting it done with good quality, and reporting back without any follow ups. We’re able to work like a well-oiled machine because all members of our team are professionals with high integrity.
5. What are you most proud of accomplishing throughout your time at Ōmcare?
I am grateful that working with a small but great team, I was able to make an amazing product that is currently helping people to take their medications on time and stay healthy. Starting with a list of product requirements, I led the effort of identifying the product architecture, choosing the hardware and software components, developing the strategy for quality and product security, and hiring engineers who are highly skilled. I am specifically proud of my contribution towards identifying components which are low priced but of high quality. This enables us to keep the cost of goods sold low, which in turn allows us to make the product more affordable.
