Requirements to participate include:
- Willingness to transfer prescriptions to Ōmcare’s national pharmacy partner, pharmerica.com
- Wi-Fi access where the Hub will be located
- Ability to navigate a screen, with or without assistance, to dispense and verify meds taken
- Either you or someone you trust to insert the prepackaged medication roll into the Hub
Transferring is simple! Ōmcare will provide a dedicated PharMerica phone number and an enrollment specialist will start you on the med transfer process.
PharMerica will ship your meds right to your door. The Hub holds up to 30 days of meds at a time.
Loading your medication is easy and can be done by you or someone you trust. Open the door and put your roll of medication on the spindle, then shut the door.
Your medication schedule is automatically downloaded from your pharmacy to your Hub. Each day (or multiple times a day) when it’s time to take your medication, you will get an alert.
Someone you trust can download the Ōmcare mobile app and use the Caregiver Assist feature. This allows the caregiver to walk through your dispensing activities using our video functionality.
Only people you authorize can call you on your Hub. They will use the Ōmcare mobile app.
