To use this service, you need:
- To be willing to move your prescriptions to PharMerica, Omcare’s pharmacy partner.
- To be able to tap a screen, with or without help, to dispense your meds.
- To be able to place the medicine roll into the Hub, or have someone you trust do it for you.
- Wi-Fi internet in the area where you will keep the Hub.
Ōmcare will give you a special PharMerica phone number. When you call, an enrollment person will help you transfer your meds.
- PharMerica ships them directly to your home. The Hub can hold up to 30 days of meds at a time.
It’s simple:
- Open the Hub door.
- Put the medicine roll on the spindle.
- Close the door.
Your schedule is sent from the pharmacy straight to your Hub. When it’s time for a dose, the Hub alerts you.
Someone you trust can download the Ōmcare mobile app. They can use the Caregiver Assist video feature to walk you through dispensing and taking your meds.
Only people you choose and approve can call you through the Ōmcare app.
